Cheers to the second week of Fantasy Friday on the Rocks!
This week’s drink? It's all shadows and steel. Smoke and sweetness. A tribute to one of the most intense and unexpected ships in the Throne of Glass universe. (Spoilers ahead)
🥀 The Manorian Cocktail 🥀

She’s a ruthless Ironteeth witch with a heart she refuses to name. He’s a king haunted by loss and power. Together? Fireworks. Or blood and seduction, depending on the chapter.
This drink was crafted with their dark, slow-burn bond in mind. Think bold bourbon, the bite of lemon, the richness of black cherry, and a hit of smoke that lingers like a secret.
🍷 Why Manorian?
Because not every love story is soft. Some are forged in war, laced with shadow, and sealed with sacrifice. Manon and Dorian are all sharp edges and stolen moments—and this cocktail mirrors that beautifully.
The Manorian Recipe
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
splash of black cherry juice
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
muddled blackberries + sugar
torched rosemary
Instructions:
Muddle the blackberries and sugar in a shaker until they’re nice and broken down.
Add bourbon, black cherry juice, and lemon juice. Fill with ice.
Shake until well chilled and slightly frothy.
Strain into a coupe or lowball glass.
Lightly torch a sprig of rosemary, then trap the smoke in glass.
Garnish with rosemary.
Mood Pairing: Read Empire of Storms, cue the tension, and imagine wyverns circling overhead. Best enjoyed while brooding or plotting.
