Light It Up - Fantasy Friday on the Rocks

Light it Up - Fantasy Friday on the Rocks

It’s been a while since I last visited Crescent City, but mixing up this “Light It Up” cocktail for this week's Fantasy Friday on the Rocks has me itching for a re-read. You know how it is—you pick up the book just to revisit your favorite scenes and suddenly it’s 2 a.m., your tea is cold, and you’re crying over characters who feel like old friends.

There’s something about Bryce Quinlan that stays with you: her messy, loyal, fierce brightness, even in the darkest moments. This cocktail feels like a small way to channel that energy—bubbly, bright, with a little sparkle. It's like a promise that even on hard days, there’s still light worth fighting for.

And honestly, how are we supposed to wait patiently for the next Crescent City book? Or ACOTAR if there're going to be a crossover?! (If you know, tell me your secrets.) Until then, I’ll just be over here, topping off my prosecco and toasting to the Starborn, the friends we found in these pages, and the stories that continue to light us up.

The “Light It Up” Cocktail

This Bryce inspired beverage is a little twist on a French 75, one of my favorites, especially in the summer. I rimmed the glass in gold dust... just because I can! Even if you're not leaving your living room, it can still feel like a party.
